Daisy:

Excellent idea about feeding your bunnies the clover from the yard. Wish I could grow my kibble and bits! ;-)

We saved a bit by growing "bunny food" in our garden. Our bunnies don't eat a lot, but it does contricute to the grocery bill. After I've weeded the garden, I often give them a "clover treat". They love it. It's pennies, but pennies count.

Barb, I hear you on holey grocery bags. I always check them before putting them aside for poop use. That way I don't end up with anything unexpected on my hands while scooping up poop on walks.

I consider myself frugal, but I buy poop bags. After one too many of the plastic grocery bags having a hole in them, I was done.

Now I recycle my grocery bags (and try to get paper when I can) and use the store-bought poop bags...

We always ask our vet if a "people" drug might work as well as a doggie drug. They're often cheaper. I buy my dog's glucosamine from Puritan's Pride at *huge* savings, both over the vet and local stores. It's worth asking!!
