another way to save money is instead of giving physical gifts, give services like helping out with a project, giving someone a day off from chores ,etc. there are alot of creative ideas that can easily bring a smile to someone's face! :)

Last year we spent the least amount on gifts ever in our 35 years of marriage. This year we will probably be a repeat with hand-made gifts for everyone again. The trick will be finding inexpensive materials as I have nearly exhausted my entire stash of yarns (mostly found at yard sales).

One of the best ways to save on holiday gift giving is to host direct sales parties throughout the year and get all your gifts for free!

There are so many different kinds of products sold through direct sales, and the parties are fun and popular again! From candles, gourmet foods, pots & pans, jewelry, beauty products, home & garden items, water filters, essential oils, tupperware, clothing, toys, books, organic products...you can buy just about anything through direct sales. Hostesses earn free products without leaving home - save on gifts and gas money while enjoying a fun evening with the girls! The Direct Womens Selling Alliance (DSWA) is a good place to find professional, dependable direct sellers from a variety of companies.
