Your post just saved me $225 on the appliances for my new home. I owe you!
No freakin’ way, are you serious? That’s awesome! Can I retweet your comment?
Tweet onward.
btw, yesterday at a furniture store’s going-out-of-business sale I channeled you and asked if they’d give me $100 off if I bought two pieces. They did. Again, I owe you.
Thanks, Janine. You’ve really made my day! Glad I could save you over $300 in the past two days.
Thanks!!
Janine, What did you do to save your $$$? I am searching for a new fridge to replace our 16 year old one.
Leah, any recommendations/reviews on quiet fridges? Or where to FIND and read the reviews?
Thanks!
I’m guessing that she visited Sears.com or Homedepot.com to get that kind of deal. (I was seriously considering a double-oven I found on the Home Depot site after Janine posted about her savings.) Lowe’s is also having Cyber Monday deals today.
As far as reviews, Consumer Reports maybe? Funny, I never think about a refrigerator being loud. Dishwashers, yes? But fridges, no. Maybe that’s because yours is so old. New ones just don’t make noise!
That’s true. I love our dishwasher (it was in the house when we moved in last December) I can honestly say I NEVER know when it is on. Our current fridge is quiet, a Frigidaire, but I’m not sure how today’s Frigidaire’s are. This one is just so old I think it sucks out energy.
