Happy New Year to all of my Suddenly Frugal readers. Here are a handful of freebies to get you through the first week of the new year and into the new decade.
Free Wifi
- Remember: if you’re traveling through the holidays, you can get free Wifi at 47 airports nationwide. This deal is good through January 15th.
Admission on the House
- On January 2 & 3, Bank of America’s Museum on Us program gives its cardholders free admission to more than 120 leading U.S. cultural institutions, including museums, historical sites, science centers and zoos. From the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to the Art Institute of Chicago, customers simply present their Bank of America ATM, credit or check card and a valid photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution. This program runs on the first weekend of every month. (Here’s a link, via Miami FL on the Cheap, to South Florida museums that are participating in this program.)
Free Food
- Taco Bell is giving away 1 million free Fresco tacos, but you need to download this coupon in order to get the deal. Supposedly, the website will let you know once the 1 million tacos have been eaten and therefore the deal isn’t good anymore. So far, there is no notice that the deal is off so download, print and eat!
- Enjoy free breakfast at IKEA through January 3rd. What do you actually get for free? A small breakfast and a small cup of coffee (retail value about $2) but hey, it’s free! (Thanks to the Affluent Pauper for a heads up on this deal.)
