Am I the last person to realize that TLC has made a TV show about extreme couponing?
I discovered this latest series while catching up on TV this past weekend.
Once again I am simultaneously amazed and disgusted at what these people are able to get with their coupons–amazed at the quantities with how little they spend, and disgusted with the quality of the food they are choosing to get for free.
Also, one woman says she spends 30 hours a week on couponing. I supposed if that’s your full-time job, that is justified. But I sure don’t have that kind of time in my life to devote to couponing. Then again the show isn’t just called “Couponing” but “Extreme couponing.”
I’m curious to know if this show has a takeaway message. Has anyone watched a full episode yet? Is it worth setting a Tivo Season Pass?
