National Coffee Day is Thursday, September 29th. You would think that would mean that lots of places nationwide would be giving away free coffee. But unlike National Coffee Day celebrations of years gone by, I could find only two companies participating in 2011. I’ve listed below where you can stop in for a free cup of Joe on Thursday:
- 7-11: Get a free medium coffee between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., at participating locations and while supplies last.
- Krispy Kreme: Krispy Kreme is taking advantage of National Coffee Day to introduce customers to its new house blend coffee. You can get a free 12-ounce coffee of the house blend brew just for the asking. (Of course, Krispy Kreme would like you also to ask for a recommendation for a doughnut to pair with your coffee, said doughnut not being free, that is.)
I wonder if/when Wawa, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or any other coffee retailers will eventually jump on the National Coffee Day bandwagon for 2011?
