I know that some of the most popular posts here on Suddenly Frugal have to do with using your Crock-Pot or slow cooker to cook meals on the cheap. In the past I’ve written about making Crock-Pot French toast, chicken stir-fry and fried chicken. I also make a mean slow cooker pork loin.
Using a slow cooker is one of my favorite ways to stay on my meal plan budget and ensure that when 5 p.m. rolls around and everyone walks through the door, starving, we have a hot meal ready and waiting. That means there’s no reason to dial 1-800-PIZZA!
Another of my favorites is leftovers. I love leftovers, and so do my family. When I make chicken stir-fry, my two daughters argue over who gets to take the leftovers for lunch–literally, there have been fights about it. Speaking of leftovers, I just found out through one of my affiliate networks about this adorable Crock-Pot Lunch Crock that’s perfect for taking a slow cooked meal to work or school. And right now, through Coupons.com, you can get a $5 off coupon (see below).
Considering these crocks cost close to $20, that’s like getting it for 25% off!
I did some research and found out that you get this product at Walmart, Target and Amazon, too. FYI, you can get the crock in the following colors:
