Do you still have back-to-school shopping to do? Do you live near a Macy’s? How would you like your shopping to benefit a good cause and get 25% off your purchases? If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, then head over to Macy’s on Saturday, August 25th, for the annual Shop for a Cause day at the store.

To get the 25% benefit that benefits the good cause of your choice, you’ll need to purchase a $5 “Shop For A Cause” savings pass. Each non-profit organization participating in the shopping event will keep 100 percent of every savings pass it sells. There are more than 6,000 local charities have signed up to participate. You can find a list of these non profits on the Macy’s website.

“Shop For A Cause” is Macy’s unique, one-day-only shopping event that was created to support local and national charities’ fundraising efforts, and has helped raise more than $42 million for charitable organizations across the country since 2006. Macy’s has designated March of Dimes, the leading non-profit organization for pregnancy and baby health, as its national beneficiary of all proceeds of sales of “Shop For A Cause” savings passes in-stores and on macys.com.
