VIDEO: Saving on Back-to-School Shopping

I did an interview a few weeks ago with WTVD in Raleigh, North Carolina, offering my tips on saving for back-to-school shopping. Some of these tips include using reusable containers for make-your-own snacks (versus prepackaged 100 calorie packs, which can be pricey), buying backpacks and lunch boxes from companies that offer lifetime guarantees (Jansport, L.L. Bean and Lands’ End come to mind), and stocking up on school supplies all year round.
