Eat for free. That’s music to my ears.
As you know I like to focus on ways my readers can not only eat for free but do lots of other things for free as well.
Earlier this week I focused on where you could go for free breakfast. Today, September 20th, there just happens to be three different ways that you can eat for free. Here are the details on those 3 food freebies.
Free Ice Cream at Carvel
Thursday, September 20th is Carvel Customer Appreciation Day. To thank you for being a customer, Carvel is giving away a free Junior Bonnet ice cream cone from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In case you’re not familiar with the Bonnet, it’s the candy shell that forms when Carvel dips it cone. You can get Bonnet shells in the following flavors: caramel, cotton candy, peanut butter, and cake mix. I would think there would still be chocolate as an option but who knows? One free cone per customer. Use this store locator link to find a Carvel near you that’s participating in this promotion.
Free Salad for Teachers at Cosi
If you’re a teacher, guess what? Dinner is on Cosi today, September 20, 2012. After 5 p.m. any teacher with valid school ID who visits Cosi–and present this coupon–will get a free Autumn Apple Chicken Salad. There are Cosi locations in 19 states, including the District of Columbia. Hopefully, you can find a location near you.
Free Queso and Chips at Moe’s
Unlike other free queso and chips offers that require you to make a purchase first, the one on September 20th at Moe’s Southwest Grill is completely free. Just show up at a participating Moe’s, and you’ll get a free six-ounce order of queso and cheese. No wonder Moe’s is calling it Free Queso Day!
In a perfect world, you live near a shopping center that has all three restaurants mentioned above!
