Looking for something free to do on Labor Day? Here are 5 freebies that I tracked down, all good on Monday, September 3rd, or Labor Day 2012.

Eat Free at IKEA
For starters breakfast before 11 a.m. is always free at IKEA, good to know if you planning to shop there on Labor Day. But there’s another freebie going on, too: when you spend $100 in the store, you can eat in the IKEA Restaurant for free. You’ll just need to present your shopping receipt to deduct your restaurant receipt (eaten the same day). This freebie is good through Monday, September 3.

BOGO Deal at Macaroni Grill
Print out this coupon from Facebook (you may have to “Like” Romano’s Macaroni Grill first) to get a buy one, get one free entree deal at Macaroni Grill on Labor Day.

BOGO Deal at Firehouse Subs
Firehouse Subs is giving away a free medium sub when you purchase any sub combo. To redeem the offer, simply bring a printed copy of the coupon. This is valid on Monday, September 3 only.

Trace Your Family History for Free
Ancestry.com is opening up its database for free through Monday, September 3rd. That means that you can search your family history for free, without having to join Ancestry.com. While you’re there, you can also sign up for 14-day free trial.

Free Museum Admission for the Military
Active duty military members and their family can enjoy free museum admission on Labor Day, thanks to the Blue Star Museums program. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America. This free admission program runs from Memorial Day, May 28, through Labor Day, September 3, 2012.
