Today’s Freebie Friday is dedicated to Veteran’s Day 2012, which falls on Sunday, November 11th but is celebrated on the federal level (i.e. no mail, banks are closed) on Monday, November 12th.

Veteran’s Day is a day to remember and thank all of the military men and women–past and present–and thank them for their service to our country. So I’ve decided to focus this Freebie Friday on free stuff for Veteran’s Day.

Most of these freebies are limited to those with military personnel who must provide valid ID. Unless specified otherwise all deals are good for Sunday, November 11th. Deals appear with businesses listed in alphabetical order.

Here are 29 Veteran’s Day 2012 freebies:

Applebee’s: Veterans and active duty military are welcome to enjoy a free signature entree from a special Veteran’s Day menu at participating Applebee’s.

California Pizza Kitchen: Enjoy a free pizza and a non-alcoholic beverage on the house at California Pizza Kitchen on either Sunday, November 11 or Monday, November 12.

Chammps Americana: Enjoy a free cheeseburger and fries all day at participating Chammps Americana restaurants nationwide.

Cheeseburger in Paradise: Cheeseburger in Paradise has a free meal for the military on Monday, November 12.

Denny’s: Pancake-loving veteran’s should head over to Denny’s restaurants on Monday, November 12 when Denny’s will be offering all-day, all-you-can-eat pancakes. You can get more information on the Denny’s Facebook page.

Krispy Kreme: Participating Krispy Kreme locations will be celebrating Veterans Day by offering a freebie to veterans and active military. The freebie varies by location as does the date. Some Krispy Kreme locations are giving a free cup of coffee on Sunday only. Others are offering a free cup of coffee and a free doughnut on Monday, November 12. Check with your local Krispy Kreme to find out if it is participating, when and with what free stuff.

I visited the Massage Envy in Ardmore, PA on 11/11. I did receive the
1-hour complimentary massage – as did other veterans who were there.
No other purchase or fees were required.

Glad to hear it! Thank you for letting me know!

I called our Massage Envy and they are giving a free 1/2 hour massage to vets, but you have to pay for an hour massage to get that free half hour. Hmmmm…it says a free one hour. So oh well, forget it.

I’m sorry that the information Massage Envy provided to me–and which I shared with readers–turned out not to be accurate.
