While I like to treat my family to pizza every once and awhile, I’ll often make my own pizza dough at home, and then we all make our own personal pizzas for pennies. But if I can get free pizza and don’t have to cook, well, you had me at free pizza.
Right now there are two ways you can get free food from restaurants selling pizza. One of these I’d mentioned in last week’s Freebie Friday. The other is brand new. Here goes!
Free Pizza from Papa John’s: I normally don’t cover contests or giveaways but the odds for this one are too good not to mention. That is, every week during football season, Papa John’s is giving away 120,000 pizzas, for a total of 2 million pizzas. This is a great deal, if you like football and pizza! (Thanks Houston on the Cheap!)
Free Salad from California Pizza Kitchen: Hurry because this deal only lasts another week–how come I’m just hearing about it now? Anyway, you can get a free Quinoa + Arugula Salad at California Pizza Kitchen. Offer expires September 18, 2012. Quinoa, by the way, is a rice-like grain full of protein and is pronounced keen-wah. My family loves it!
